11/25/25: PIG BUTT WORM

Today I learned that there is a deep sea creature called pig butt worm and it really does look like a flying pig buttock. Now I've seen everything! lol

11/24/25: THE LOST MEDIA: THE FLUFFY COTTON BALL CHARACTER FROM AN OBSCURE CANADIAN CHILDREN'S SHOW

I can remember a loooooooong time ago when I was a lil' tyke, I used to watch different Canadian kids' shows on the CBC television channel on an old television. Some of the most memorable shows I saw were Rolie Polie Olie, Dragon Tales, Cyberchase, Big Bag (especially the Slim Pig segments), Mr. Dressup, Nanalan'(yes THAT show), Tiny Planets, Noddy, Zoboomafoo, and The Save-Ums!

But there was one show I vaguely remembered watching, though I could not recall the title. It was a live-action show and the most memorable part of the show was the giant, round cotton ball character. The cotton ball character was female, with arms, legs, eyes with lashes, no nose, and pink lips. The character was a costume donned by a female actress and was not CGI or a puppet. In the show, whenever a kid had a problem, they would pull a small fluffy ball of cotton from their pocket and make a wish—saying something like 'fluffy puffy'— to summon the large cotton ball character. I liked that show when I was a kid, but as I got older, I almost completely forgot it.

But the cotton ball character was still etched into my memory, though unfortunately not the title. And several times in the past, I had tried looking around the internet but could never find anything. The only thing I could find was that show from the 70s called H. R. Pufnstuf, which was clearly not it. So I thought to myself that it was perhaps just a fever dream, or that I misremembered it, or that if it did exist, it was forever lost media. That is, until now! I found this image(down below) of that large cotton ball character and she looks exactly how I remember her!

I found this image when I came across this subreddit. In that subreddit, it appeared that I was not the only person that remembered the show but couldn't recall its name. A reddit user asked a question about that lost, mysterious show and a person replied with a link to the image search. I clicked on the link and immediately saw that picture of the large cotton ball character!

I was super excited to see the image and so I clicked on the source of that image, which took me to this subreddit r/MeTooFluffy. It was from there that I finally found the name of that show! The name of that show was called Me Too! and it aired from 2002 to 2006 on CBC Kids. Not only did I FINALLY find the title, but I also got a chance to watch a short YouTube video of Me Too!— and the show was just like I remembered it!

I never thought I'd see the day I rediscovered that long-lost kids' show from my childhood! It is quite refreshing and nostalgic. Now I can finally rest knowing that show was never a fever dream.😌

11/20/25: SQUID GAME

Two days ago, I finished watching the final season of Squid Game. There were so many great characters(my favorite is Gi-Hun) and some of the moments in the series hit me right in the feels. Love this series! Also lol Thanos is freaking hilarious even though he's a bad guy.

11/15/25: PREDATOR: BADLANDS

Today I saw Predator: Badlands at the movie theater and I loved it!!!! I like the action, the fight scenes, the story, and the characters. I really enjoyed seeing the different variety of creatures. It was quite refreshing to see newer alien species beside the Yautja and the xenomorph this time(and also the Space Jockey). This Predator movie is quite different from the other Predator movies I had seen in the past. It has some funny moments, which may turn off some fans that want something more super serious 24/7. I personally love the humor and don't mind it. This movie is without a doubt FAR FAR FAR better than The Predator(2018). That 2018 movie was pure garbage. Another thing I want to add is that something about Predator: Badlands reminds me of Star Wars the Clone war series but with more bloods and violence. I think the director Dan Tractenberg did a great job with this movie. I have not seen his other works, such as Prey and Predator: Killer of Killers, but I definitely want to check them out. Overall, I think Predator: Badlands is epic and I highly recommend it!

10/15/25: DRAWING REQUESTS

Alrighty then! Lately I had been working on 2 drawing requests from a friend of mine.

One of the drawing request was to draw the Anime Version of Seinfeld.

Anime version of Seinfeld

The other drawing request was to draw Batman traveling through time to recruit new superheroes for the Justice League. I included the black & white version and the colored version.

Batman Time Travel Black and white version Batman Time Travel Colored version

I'm happy to say that my friend was quite pleased with the results and told me he love the drawings. Drawing these requests was pretty fun!

8/30/25: THE FANTASTIC FOUR: FIRST STEPS(spoiler alert)

Today I watched The Fantastic Four: First Steps at the movie theater. I liked it! My favorite character is the female Silver Surfer. Her powers of superspeed and the ability to go through objects are really cool. I love her design, she looks insanely cool.....and insanely hawt😍🥵 Ben Grimm aka The Thing is my second favorite character. I like his personality, rocky exterior, and his superstrength. This movie's Galactus was quite an intimidating villain. He was more comic book accurate compared to Galactus in the previous F4 film(Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer) where he took the form of a giant fart cloud. I wish there was more in-depth explanation about Galactus' background history and also more of his interactions with the other characters in the movie. They did a little bit of that but I feel there should have been more. One of my favorite part of the movie was the incredible high-speed chase scene where the Silver Surfer was going after the Fantastic Four through the wormhole. Overall, I really enjoyed the film and I would recommend checking it out! EXCELSIOR!

8/28/25: NYAHOO!

Know what's funny? There's another website on neocities named Nyahoo!—kind of like mine, except mine has studio at the end of it. No seriously, there's literally a neocities website called Nyahoo!. Their neocities profile says that the site Nyahoo! was created on November 18, 2022. Mine was created in April 15, 2020. So naturally, I had to ask myself: What exactly is this Nyahoo! site supposed to be? I have to admit that at first, I thought this site was copying me or something. I had to do some digging just to make sure. Thankfully, that wasn't the case. The about page of the site says it is an easy, old style search engine. I tried it out for a bit and I find it pretty interesting. I love the simplicity of it. I wanted to share this because I thought it was a funny coincidence that our sites share the same name. lol

8/24/25: K-POP DEMON HUNTER

Today I saw K-Pop Demon Hunter at the movie theater and I FREAKING LOVE IT!!!!!!!!!!! I love the characters, the story, the animation, the fight scenes, and the songs! OMG, the song Golden is sooooooooooo freaking good, I can't stop listening to it! I give this movie a 10 out of 10 stars!⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

I honestly would love to see a sequel to this!

8/23/25: Ambivalence

(SIGH)

Sometimes I miss being an average guy who lived a plain, boring life without a care in the world. Life was soooooooo much simpler back then. I take a look at myself now and I am like: "What have I gotten myself into now? What am I doing?? It's too dangerous and risky! It is not safe! Am I insane?!! Seriously tho, what the h*ll am I doing with my life?!!!!!!!!"

Yet at the same time, I feel so much joy and euphoria, even if it's temporary. My self-esteem is so much higher, again temporary. Plus I enjoy greater independence and self-reliance than I had before. I enjoy this new life so much that I keep on looking for the right time and place to experience that sweet heavenly bliss again and again. But I have to ask myself again: "Is it worth it? Is my life getting better? Or is it really getting worse?"

There is so much conflicting emotions wrestling within my soul that I find myself struggling to fall asleep almost every night. I just cannot stop (over)thinking about my inner conflict. My new experience feels like a wonderful, heavenly relief from years of suppression and low self-esteem yet I am much more tense and vulnerable than ever to the threat of an increasingly dangerous society. Oh, how I hate being so ambivalent! It is a curse and...maybe a blessing??? I honestly don't know. All I know is that I do wish I could SAFELY be myself.

8/21/25: Idea for a Blog Post

Heeeeeeeeeeeeeeey! So I am trying to come up with an idea for a blog post and I just thought of something. Is anybody interested in reading about how I make my comics? I could tell all about my comic-making process step by step and maybe even add pictures. So again I ask: Is there anybody, anybody at all, interested in reading about how I make my comics?

No one? Okeydoke, maybe not! Ciao!

8/17/25: "Making it as an artist"

A question I heard several times before: "When have you made it as an artist?"

My answer: If you make art, you already made it as an artist. Your worth as an artist should not be defined by how much money you make from your art nor should it be based on how many followers or fans you have. It should be defined by your passion and love for making art. That is really all you need.

8/8/22: Krita Review

Krita is an digital painting application that I have been using for a looong time. There is a lot to like about this software. First of all, it has an adorable mascot, an anthropomorphic squirrel named Krita. Second of all, Krita is not just for making drawings and digital paintings. It can be used for making 2D ANIMATION!!! I made several gifs and short animations on Krita before. While there is a bit of a learning curve, it is very fun to animate on Krita. Another great thing about Krita is it has a diverse amount of paint tools ranging from pen tools to airbrush tools to textures tools. My personal favorite is the impressionistic brush! Last of all, Krita is FREE to download. Krita makes their money through donation so there is no need to worry about being bombarded with annoying advertisements. Those are all the pros but what about the cons?

Well, unless one has experience and/or an education in using the so-called "industry-standard" Photoshop, the Krita's user interface can be a little daunting for a noob. Like I mentioned before, there is a slightly deep learning curve in not only using the animation tools but using Krita as a whole. Another con is that Krita seems to be available only on desktop computer. The last time I checked, Krita does not have an app available to install on a smartphone or a tablet. Although I do think the creators and programmers of Krita are currently trying to work on this. Also, in order to render an animation in Krita, it is necessary to download another program FFMPEG. This process of downloading another program can be a headache, but the FFMPEG program does work well. That is all the cons I am aware of so far. Overall, Krita is definitely one of my favorite art application for creating and editing arts...on desktop computer! However, my favorite app for creating art on iPad is Procreate. I may do a review on Procreate next time. Ciao!

6/25/22: Me when I think of what to write in my journal blog...

(7/2/25-7/6/25: Video was unfortunately deleted. It showed a chimp from Laurel and Hardy's Dirty Work short saying "I have nothing to say." I added a gif that happened to be clip of that.)

5/28/22: Social Media Stinks!

Tiktok, Instagram, Twitter, and Facebook stink. Want to know why? Complete this fun activity to find out the answer!

  • Step 1. Take one of the letter 'T' from Tiktok.
  • Step 2. Take and flip the 'n' in Instagram upside-down into the letter u.
  • Step 3. Take the letter 'r' from Twitter.
  • Step 4. Take and flip the 'b' in Facebook sideway into the letter d.
  • Step 5. Put together all the letters you had taken and you get the word 'turd.' This is the answer to why Tiktok, Instagram, Twitter, and Facebook stink.
  • Step 6. Last, dump the 'turd' into the toilet and flush it.
